Daisuke Niwa is an ordinary middle school student before. Born in the Niwas, on the night of his  fourteenth birthday, after Risa's (Daisuke's crush) rejection, he suddenly changed his form into Dark Mousy, the legendary thief, who had been missing for 40 years. When Daisuke sees Risa, he transforms into Dark. Unfortunately, when Dark Mousy sees his crush, Risa's twin Riku, he transforms back into Daisuke. (That's coz their DNA react with their heart, maybe... ;P). The only cure for this craziness is if Daisuke can get Risa to fall in love with him ...

Well, that was the opening, and... Let's go to the next story!!! ;D

The annual midwinter hike is no walk in the park for the students of Azumano Middle School. Daisuke has been dreading the trek all year, but his one ray of hope is that he gets to show off his mountain expertise for his beloved Risa. But, suddenly wind blows Risa's hat and flew to the branch of a tree outside the fences (is it fences? ;P). Risa ask Daisuke to take her hat. Daisuke can fly anytime to take it, but NOT in front of everyone, esp. Hiwatari Satoshi, the higher police commander, also his classmate, who is willing to capture dark with some reason. Then Riku, Risa's older twin, yells to Daisuke that he is a coward and then she tries to take Risa's hat, but accidentaly Riku lost her grab to the fences, and Daisuke catches her and they both fall to the valley. Riku can't walk caused her leg's hurt, and then Daisuke take her to his back, and bring her with him, try to climb the stone wall. After half way, Daisuke ask Riku to leave his back for a while, and Riku ask Daisuke to call her "Riku" instead of "Harada" (Daisuke calls her Harada, also for Risa... That's why Riku ask him to call her by her first name, coz she don't know who's Daisuke talk to when he say "Harada"). This causes Daisuke's heart beaten fast, and he knew that he will change. He suddenly ran to the bushes, and changed into Dark. With (a rabbit-like magical creature, Daisuke's pet) changes into Daisuke, and go back to Riku. Meanwhile, Dark hide in the bushes. Dark ask With to bring Riku to the right way, but With doesn't know the way!! They're go to the left one... *sigh* And, (I'll fasten it...), both Riku and With fall to the valley, again, and Dark help them (With change to Dark's black wings). They're back safely... :D

Many things happen... Then, in the third book, Daisuke realizes that he is FALLING IN LOVE WITH RIKU by the first time they meet!!! (At Dark's first appearance after 40 years) Yaaayyy!! And, Riku loves Daisuke too! Daisuke confess his feeling after steal "Moonlight" and "Sunlight", a mask made by the Hikaris (Actually, Satoshi is one of the Hikaris, his true name is Hikari Satoshi). And then... Many happens (I can't tell all of the story, it makes a long entry!!! :p) Read it so you can know what's happen... Hehehehe!! :p

The last tankoubon that has published in Indonesia is the 8th one... I want to read the 9th!!! Well, Ilove the "Ice and Snow" chapter... I love the story!!! :D Btw, now I'' add some characters profile that you'll find on the tankoubon, 'kay! :D (Some profiles taken from a site, forgot... I save it to my file... :P)

Daisuke Niwa
An ordinary, if slightly unlucky, middle school student. Cursed with a hereditary 'condition' upon turning 14, whenever he sees the love of his life he is transformed into the persona of 'Dark,' a magical master-thief.

Dark Mousy
The phantom thief that Daisuke turns into whenever he sees the girl he has a crush on.

Hiwatari Satoshi
Classmate of Daisuke's. He's somewhat aloof and extremely intelligent. He may just be Dark's/Diasuke's undoing.

Riku Harada
Risa's twin sister. The thing is, the phantom thief Dark is ga-ga for this twin. And when he sees her ... you guessed it, he turns back into Daisuke.

Risa Harada
The young girl that Daisuke has the hots for. She is a bit out of his league, though -- at least that's what Risa thinks. She has an ultra-competitive relationship with her sister, Riku.

Takeshi Saehara
Daisuke's classmate, also his best friend (with Sekimoto, maybe... :p) for 10 years long. A reporter, obsessed to report all Dark's actions. His father is an Inspector of the police, he make this as a chance to get lot info about Dark.

With
Daisuke's pet, actually a magical creature which can change it's transform into Dark's black wings, Daisuke, and also Dark.

Krad
A trully enemy of Dark. See his name? Back it, you'll find "Dark" reversed to "Krad". The other side of Satoshi, with a white wings on him. :D Actually, Satoshi want to hide him in his body, don't want to make him appear (at least that's what I tought... ;D)

As I said before, I've never read the 9th one from the tankoubon nor the website around the world... Gee, I cant read all those Japanese letter... *sigh* Hope m&c (Indonesian's D.N.Angel. publisher) will publish it soon... :D Btw, anyone ever read the 9th? Tell me the story, please!!! T_T *sobs*

Nah, tadi itu cerita "ringkas" tentang D.N.Angel. Kapan2 hun bikin tentang yang laen deh! :D Btw, sadar gak, kalo tulisan D.N.Angel. di cover kedua ma kedelapan tuh beda ma yang laen? Tuh komik versi Indonesianya, gak keren banget seh! (Gomen... Heheheh!!). Masa logonya diubah gitu! Ntar tak aduin ke Kadokawa loh! Bcanda koq... Hehehehehe... :p
